Hundreds turn out for 10th annual Women’s Work-Life Symposium

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – For ten years the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce has hosted the Women’s Work-Life Symposium and once again it was a sold out event.

350 women were in attendance for the event, which was filled with networking, professional development and personal growth opportunities.

Attendees heard from three keynote speakers and were able to shop from unique vendors from all over the area.

Organizers of the event say it’s important for women to take time for themselves and explore what the community has to offer, especially in times like this.

“Especially right now, I think in the past seven months with everything ladies in our community are dealing with, insurance and hurricane damage, their kids and their work and their husbands, today is a day to take time for themselves and treat themselves,” said Helen Adami, the Marketing and Events Director for the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Each woman in attendance received a swag bag and door prizes and giveaways were given out throughout the event.
