The Florida Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General has arrested a corrections officer.
Officer Jeffrey Elmore was arrested Tuesday “following a long-term OIG criminal investigation.” Members of the 14th Judicial Circuit and the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
Elmore was charged with introduction of contraband into a prison facility, conspiracy to introduce contraband into a prison facility and unlawful compensation or reward for official behavior as a public servant.
