Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center Hosts Guitars and Stars

The 7th annual stars and guitars benefit concert was held tonight at the Marina Civic Center and featured some of Nashville’s biggest artists.

Headlining the event was Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum, Lee Brice and Jerrod Niemann. This is the largest annual fundraiser benefiting the Gulf Coast Children Advocacy center. Executive director Lori Allen tells News 13 the importance of of the community coming together for a good cause.

“We continue to make this an annual event and we hope that Panama City and the surrounding areas will continue to come out and support us. They’ve helped us raise over half a million dollars to stay right here locally for our community,” said Executive Director, Lori Allen.


The Childrens Advocacy Center’s mission is to heal local children affected by abuse and neglect, as well as survivors of sexual assault. To learn more about the children’s advocacy program visit www.gulfcoastcac.org
