The felony trial for former Bay County prosecutor, Greg Wilson, begins this week.
A jury was selected Monday morning and day one of testimony will begin Tuesday.
Ahead of the trial, Wilson lost two important battles in the case against him. He is charged with possession of contraband in a county detention facility, and a misdemeanor count of perjury.
Wilson had hoped to get a recorded video of him passing notes, and recorded phone calls between Wilson and his clients, thrown out during the trial. However, the judge decided on Friday that he will allow the evidence to be presented.
A verdict is expected to be reached in this case on Wednesday evening. To keep up with the trial, follow #WilsonTrial on our WMBB Twitter page.
