GCSO: Port St. Joe High Student had Shotgun in Truck, Meth in Pockets

Port St. Joe, Fla. - A Port St. Joe High School student was arrested Monday after he allegedly had a gun in his vehicle and meth in his pockets

Gulf County Sheriff's deputies were using a K-9 to search the parking lot at the school Monday when the dog alerted on a truck. Deputies removed 17-year-old Christopher Dorman from class and searched his vehicle, according to an arrest affidavit. Inside they found three knives, a shotgun, shotgun rounds and ammunition for other guns, deputies wrote. They added that they then searched Dorman and found that he had three plastic bags containing meth in his pockets. 

Dorman was arrested and is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm on school property.
