GCSC Hosts Annual Holiday Concert

Gulf Coast State College got in the holiday spirit Sunday afternoon.

All of the college’s Visual and Performing Arts groups displayed their work at the Amelia Center Theatre in Panama City for their annual holiday concert.

The jazz ensemble, concert band, singing commodores and concert chorale performed classic holiday tunes and even took on a Lionel Richie classic “All Night Long”.

Organizers said the event serves as a way to give back to the community.

“It’s always a free concert to the community. It’s our gift to the community. We collect canned food and non-perishable items for local food banks each year. We also have some guest musicians joining us from the community. So it’s always a great event and well attended,” Jason Hedden, the college’s Visual and Performing Arts chair, said.

If you missed the concert, you can find a video stream with all of the performances on Gulf Coast State College’s website.
