Two choir groups that have been performing since the 1960’s entertained Bay County residents once again.
Gulf Coast State College’s Singing Commodores and Concert Chorale choirs performed at the Amelia Center Theatre Sunday afternoon.
The choirs perform classical pieces, jazz, and even some pop tunes.
An instructor says the performance is a culmination of all the hard work of the students.
“They are a big hallmark of Gulf Coast State College and every year we like to show the community what they can do. They can do a lot by the way,” Carissa Hosea, the associate professor of music, said.
If you missed Sunday’s performance, you can check out Gulf Coast State College’s jazz ensemble and concert band. They’ll will perform next Sunday, April 29.
The event is at 2:30 p.m. and is free to the public.
