Florida Highway Patrol Still Searching for Hit and Run Driver


The Florida Highway Patrol now believes they know the type of car that hit and killed a man on a scooter on Highway 22 last week.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said that the accident happened around 8:00 near sandy creek road… Close to the bay county, gulf county line. 

Troopers said that the driver of the scooter, 43-Year old Jamie Langford died at the scene. Reports say after the driver of the car hit him, they fled the scene.

Now the Highways Patrol says they are looking for a 2013 to 2016 ford fusion or focus with front end damage. Anyone with information of the suspect vehicle is should contact the florida highway patrol.
