The popular country band, Florida Georgia Line, continues to lend a helping hand to those in the Panhandle.

Saturday, singer Brian Kelley delivered toys, clothing items, and sneakers to Port St. Joe elementary school.

The school principal said that a student’s mom reached out to Kelley asking for help. She said the school is distributing items to students in need and they were running low on clothing and supplies.

“The teachers and their families and some of our students came out, and everybody got to leave with a pair of shoes, and the rest of the clothing and the shoes and the toys are going to out Christmas toy drive that the community is doing,” said Principal Joni Mock.

Students at the school said they are excited to wear the new shoes and clothing to school on Monday.

Principal Mock said each donation made a big difference for the students and their families.
