Early Voting Begins for Municipal Elections in Bay County

If you’re a resident of Callaway, Springfield or Panama City Beach, this week you can start voting for the upcoming municipal election.

Election day is April 17, but for those who have already made up their mind, or don’t want to wait until the last minute, early voting begins Monday, April 9.

Early Voting will be from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. all week at the Lyndell Senior Center in Panama City Beach or at the Supervisor of Elections Office located on 11th Street in Panama City.

“Voter turnout is determined by the voters, and that is what our office does — we provide the opportunity,” Bay County Supervisor of Elections, Mark Andersen, said. “So you’ve got vote by mail, you’ve got early voting and you have election day, I would hope that you have your mind up and go ahead and choose a candidate.”

You can vote by mail by contacting the Supervisor of Elections office at 784-6100.

Mailed ballots will be offered until Thursday, April 12.
