Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida Meeting

School may be out for summer but the Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida is already focusing on next year. The coalition focuses on growing healthy relationships between parents and children as well as helping those families become self-sufficient economically.

Dozens of child care providers and the Executive Director of the Florida office of Early Learning had a meeting today at the Northwest Florida office. Tuesday’s meeting was a time for discussion and appreciation.

“They have gone above and beyond to care for the families and the children in their communities. So this is our way of saying a special thank you” said the Executive Director of the Early Learning Coalition, Lynne Eldridge.

Officials say they are working on a parent portal, and increased success in voluntary Pre-K programs.
