Panama City Beach, Fla. - The Bay County Sheriff's Office have arrested a man and a woman that they believe to be responsible for four vehicle burglaries in Panama City Beach. On April 17th, three vehicles were broken into from the Hidden Pines area of Panama City Beach.
Authorities say that credit cards were taken from those burglaries. The stolen credit cards were used at a few local businesses, and video from those burglaries led the police to 29 year old Sean Peters, and 24 year old Makayla Richardson.
Local law enforcement agencies believe that Peters and Richardson could also be responsible for several more vehicle burglaries that they are working on. The couple was charged with four counts of vehicle burglary, Richardson also faces charges for fraudulent use of a credit card.
According to the Bay County Sheriff's Office, Peters was also connected to a different incident at a discount store in Callaway, Peters tried to use a credit card to purchase items, and when the card was declined he grabbed the items and ran out of the store. The assistant store manager was able to identify Peters. he has also been charged with grand theft.
