PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - Thursday's Panama City Beach City Council meeting was the last for Councilwoman Josie Strange.
Strange has served in the Ward Three seat on the City Council for the last eight years, and has reached her term limits.
Her position will be filled by one of the three candidates running for the Ward Three spot: Skip Stoltz, Burnie Thompson, or Geoff McConnell.
But Councilwoman Strange said her time in city government is not over just yet.
"I'm termed out as a councilperson, but I will run for mayor in two years," she said.
That will be in 2020, once current Mayor Mike Thomas' term is up.
