WALTON COUNTY, Fla.- A group of Walton County residents said they’ve been stripped of all their options in the battle against private beaches on 30A and they’re not just losing their patience, they’re losing their clothes.

Naked but not afraid, that’s the message.

An event on Facebook is advertising a protest near Ed Walline park on Sunday and it’s clothing optional.

The group hopes to expose the issue of privatizing beaches and say that beaches should belong to everyone.

The event states it’s private beaches versus private parts. Officials with the sheriff’s office said they are aware of the event.

They said a peaceful protest will be allowed but if anyone removes their clothes, public nudity is a crime and they will be arrested.
