City of Panama City to Conduct Fire Hydrant Flow-Testing

The city of Panama City will be conducting fire hydrant flow-testing beginning this upcoming Tuesday and running through Friday the 29th.

The hydrant flow tests will be conducted at 30 sites throughout the city and are necessary to fine tune the water system and ensure hydrants are functioning properly.

While testing is being performed in your area, there may be a temporary drop in water pressure, and discolored water sometimes as a result following the tests.

Both of these issues are temporary and should clear up quickly.

Customers who see discolored water should run their water for a few minutes to allow new water to work its way into the pipes.
