City of Lynn Haven approves 42 more hurricane relief grants

News

LYNN HAVEN, Fla.- At Tuesday evening’s Lynn Haven city commission meeting, 42 more Hurricane Michael relief fund grants have been approved for the citizens of Lynn Haven.

This is the 3rd group of approvals. So far, they have approved 167 individual relief grants all each in the amount of $1,000.

The money comes from the trust fund which is fueled by several organizations who have donated since the storm. The application process began in December and they’re still taking applications, ready to help as many residents as they can.

“We take this very seriously, we have thousands of applications and our goal is for every citizen in the city of Lynn Haven to receive a thousand dollar grant,” said Acting City Manager, Vicki Gainer.

There’s no closing date for the applications.

If you’d like to apply, go to the Lynn Haven customer service center.
