City Leaders Kick Off Annual ‘Operation Cinderella’

News

The Panama City Garden club hosted their annual ‘Operation Cinderella’ luncheon Friday to kick off this year’s city-wide clean up.

Mayors and city officials from Panama City, Panama City Beach, Parker, Springfield, Callaway, and Lynn Haven all presented updates on projects in the past year.

The mission is to clean-up, fix-up, and paint-up unsightly areas, while also keeping the cities a more desirable place to live.

Panama City Garden Club President Pat Fenaes says it takes a community effort.

“This gives them, a goal. A goal so that they can make their city more beautiful,” she said.

Operation Cinderella has been a city wide project for 53 years.
