A meeting took place in Callaway to address couple of key issues.

The Callaway Board of Commissioners gathered at the Callaway Arts and Conference Center for their regular meeting.

Numerous topics were discussed among the officials and locals such as debris removal and disaster recovery cost reimbursements however one garnered the most attention, a possible ordinance that would not allow mobile homes older than five years to move into the City of Callaway.

But the issue will be on hold as the city plans to have a workshop.

“We really would like anybody in Callaway that’s interested in this, whether they are in favor of that ordinance or if they’re opposed to the ordinance. We would like to get as much input from the public as possible so anybody that can please come out and tell us your thoughts on it,” said Pamn Henderson, City of Callaway mayor.

The workshop will be held on Jan. 29th at 6pm at the same location.
