A man told deputies he sexually assaulted two juveniles because he was bored, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies received information last week about the sexual abuse of a juvenile. An interview was done with the victim who named Jhon Albert Pretell-Carrizales as having forced her to have sex with him in 2018, deputies wrote. This incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Bay County Sheriff’s Office. The victim also disclosed additional incidents of sexual contact with Pretell-Carrizales in the past which took place within the jurisdiction of the Panama City Police Department.
Investigators with the BCSO and PCPD interviewed Pretell-Carrizales on Saturday. Pretell-Carrizales admitted, post-Miranda, to having engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim and another juvenile over the past few years. Pretell-Carrizales confirmed the details provided by the first victim and told investigators he engaged in sexual contact with the juveniles because he “was bored.”
Pretell-Carrizales is charged with sexual battery on a victim under the age of 12. He also faces similar charges by the Panama City Police Department. Pretell-Carrizales was booked into the Bay County Jail and went to first appearance before a judge.
He is currently being held without bond.
