Those in need of a car were able to get some great deals early Saturday morning
The ‘Florida Auction Network’ auctioned 78 vehicles from the city of Parker as well as the Bay and Franklin County sheriff’s offices.
Some are retired police vehicles, while others were seized from criminal activity. Doors opened at 7 a.m. Saturday for potential buyers to browse.
While these cars might need a little TLC, these vehicles are a great investment that also happens to help the community.
“We had a really good turnout today, had a great auction. All the money goes right back into the government pockets to be able to help out with the general fund. To be able to take us and keep us safe,” said Florida Auction Network Owner, Jon Sewell.
If you missed your chance on Saturday, don’t worry. The Walton County sheriff’s office will be holding an auction on March 16th right at their police department starting at 8 a.m.
This auction will have at least 63 vehicles up for bidding from the Walton County sheriff’s office and the city of Defuniak Springs.
