Bay District Schools Student Art Showcased in ‘Best of Bay’ Exhibit

There are a lot of talented students throughout Bay District Schools, and now they are getting a chance to show off their work.

The Best of Bay District Schools exhibit is being held at the Panama City Center for the Arts.

For more than 20 years, Bay District art teachers have pulled together a massive, county-wide art exhibition that features exemplary student artwork from dozens of schools.

From March 27 to April 6, the exhibition will feature high school and middle school art, and from April 11 to April 26, elementary school art will be exhibited.

The beginnings of both the middle/high school exhibition and the elementary exhibition will be marked with a special reception. The first will be on Saturday, March 30 from 1-3 p.m., and the second on Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Each elementary school only gets to exhibit 12 pieces, plus 3D artworks.

Middle schools get 15, and high schools get 40.
