Alabama couple trying to get in touch with family after Hurricane Michael

News

MEXICO BEACH, Fla. (WKRG) — Alabama couple Alan and Jennifer have been through a lot this week. They have a beach house in Mexico Beach, and they’re still trying to get in touch with their family.

Alan spoke to Panama City station WMBB 13 during their live streamed newscast (they were knocked off air by the storm, but have sustained live coverage ever since with the help of fellow Nexstar station WFLA in Tampa).

“We have a real close family, which breaks my heart. They have a three-month-old baby,” Alan explained.

Alan and Jennifer boarded up their home Monday and evacuated before the storm, but they’re worried about their family, and their friends.

The WMBB 13 team is trying to contact Alan and Jennifer’s family with our sat phone. If you can put us in contact with their family, send us an email here.
