About 25000 gallons of raw sewage from a manhole into a canal near the 1100 block of Redfish Circle in Panama City Beach. The canal empties into the north side of Grand Lagoon.

Sewage contamination of water can expose bathers to intestinal viruses, bacteria, and parasites, health officials wrote in a news release.

The Florida Department of Health in Bay County advises against swimming in the canal and Grand Lagoon between Finisterre Drive and Weakfish Drive until further notice.
