13|NOW Mental health help during the coronavirus pandemic

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) — Mike Watkins, the President & chief executive officer of Big Bend Community Based Care, joins us to talk about mental health issues during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are experiencing mental health issues there are resources to help:

Life Management Center:

Emergency Issues: If you have a problem that requires immediate attention, call our 24-hour hotline listed below and select option 5. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.

24-Hour Crisis Line: 850.522.4485 or Toll-Free: 888.785.8750

2-1-1 United Way:

United Way of Northwest Florida provides an information and referral service to residents in our 6-county region. If you are looking for help outside of the mental health services provided by Life Management Center (i.e. help paying an electrical bill), the 2-1-1 service may be able to help. To search their database, visit their website at 211nwfl.org. You may also call them by simply dialing 2-1-1.
