PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) — New members will be sworn into the Panama City Beach City Council Thursday morning and they will then tackle whether or not to reopen Panama City Beach.

The council shut down the beach in March because of the coronavirus pandemic. This week beaches across Florida have been reopened for limited hours and limited use including the unincorporated beaches controlled by the Bay County Commission that surround Panama City Beach.
