Dog lovers of all sizes gathered together to enjoy a dinner for a good cause, featuring puppies!
The 8th annual Spay-ghetti dinner, sponsored by the Lucky Puppy Dog Rescue & Kennel, aimed at helping dogs in the area get spayed and neutered.
The event was almost canceled due to Hurricane Michael but organizers knew it was important to keep it alive.
They say dogs and strays in the area need our help especially during this tough time.
“After the storm, all of us are struggling and the number of strays coming in and the number of dogs that people are having to surrender because they don’t have a home, they don’t have a fence so we’re really in need of foster homes and donations to keep going,” said Teri Mattson, Director of Lucky Puppy Dog Rescue & Kennel.
Those who attended enjoyed a spaghetti dinner, a silent auction and almost every dessert you could think of.
