Charges Change for Suspect in Parker Shooting

Charges have been changed for a suspect involved in a shooting on March 13. 

Police previously arrested 16-year-old Josiah D. Williams and 18-year-old Jeremiah D. Williams.

According to the police report, the two suspects attempted to rob the victim and during the incident, shot him with a 9mm handgun. 

In a report released on Thursday, the charges against Jeremiah Williams were changed to attempted felony murder because police say the victim could have died from the gunshot wound.

Previously, both were charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault and Use of a 2way Communications Device to Facilitate a Felony.

Josiah Williams is being held at the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Jeremiah Williams appeared in court on Friday. His bond was set at $700,000 dollars. 

He is being held at the Bay County Jail.
