BAY COUNTY, Fla. — The Easter festivites kicked off a little early in Bay County as they hosted their annual egg hunt on Saturday.
The fun took place at H.G. Harder’s Park, as hundreds of kids raced to get as many eggs as they could.
Along with plenty of candy, prizes and toys were also given out.
Organizers say it was a bit stressful to get this year’s hunt planned but knew it was good for the local kids.
“It’s very important. It’s important to have something like this for the kids to come out to so that they know, we’re on the road to recovery,” said Bay County Parks Activity Coordinator Janie Lucas.
The kids also got a visit from the Easter bunny and was able to take pictures before leaving with their full baskets.
