AARP Helps Residents File Taxes

Don't Miss

Residents of Bay County had the opportunity to get their taxes filed for free.

Volunteers with AARP set up shop at the Panama City Beach Public Library to help those who had questions or concerns for their tax return.

The group does this every year from the months of February all through April.  Organizers say this is a great opportunity to get the process finished without the stress.

Philip Cunningham, AARP District Coordinator said, “We do taxes for anyone, it doesn’t have to be AARP member. You need to bring a picture ID of the taxpayers and then a social security card for everyone that’s going to be on the tax return and of course your W2’s, your 1099’s, anything that supports your income that you’re going to report.”

If you need help with your taxes the team will be set up and at the library on Mondays from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The service will not be available on President’s Day, Monday, February 18, 2019.
