Thomas joined the News 13 team in June 2021 as a general assignment reporter and multimedia journalist.
Thomas graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School in May of 2021 with majors in Broadcast Digital Journalism and Political Science, as well as a minor in Finance.
While at Syracuse University, Thomas spent much of his time at radio stations WAER and Z89. He also worked for the campus newspaper ‘The Daily Orange’ and campus TV station, Citrus TV.
Thomas believes that news organizations are pivotal to inform local communities and that the power of the organization should be used to make a positive impact on the local community.
When he’s not at the station, Thomas enjoys reading, catching dinner with friends, or watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Tennessee Vols.
