Mackenzie graduated from The University of Alabama in December 2018, with a degree in Communication & Information Sciences. She majored in Journalism, with minors in Communication Studies and Spanish.
During her time in college, Mackenzie worked with Crimson Tide Productions as a student reporter, ENG shooter and production crew member for live broadcasts with Alabama Football and ESPN.
As a student reporter, Mackenzie covered games, press conferences and conducted pre and post-game interviews for Alabama Athletics social media and web. She also worked as a sideline reporter for SEC Network+.
Mackenzie originally is from Chatham, Illinois, and is a proud Midwestern sports fan with a passion for the Spanish language. Some of her favorite hobbies include reading, exercising, spending time with family and friends, watching sports and hanging out with her Calico cat, Lola. She also enjoys being involved in community service projects and activities.
