Jake Holter joined the News 13 team in July 2021 as a general assignment reporter and multimedia journalist.
He graduated summa cum laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University after completing his bachelor’s degree in just three years.
While at ASU, Jake worked as a reporter and anchor for the school’s news program “Cronkite News”, which aired on Arizona PBS. In the spring of 2021, he worked as a political correspondent for the program in Washington D.C. During this time, Jake interviewed many members of Congress and other high-ranking officials about everything from the border crisis to the insurrection.

He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and is excited to get a taste of the South while working for News 13.
In his free time, Jake enjoys going to the beach, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with his friends.
