Jack joined News 13 as a Multi-Media Journalist and Weekend Anchor in June 2023
A Colorado native, Jack studied at Chapman University in Orange County, California, where he received a B.F.A in Broadcast Journalism and a Minor in Spanish. During his college tenure, Jack served as an anchor, sports correspondent, and political correspondent for the university-produced news program Chapman News. Jack says his favorite experience was serving as political correspondents, noting that the job granted him the opportunity to report impactful stories and expand his knowledge on government operations.
Jack has had a passion for Broadcast News since a young age, when he was able to meet multiple news personalities in his hometown of Denver, giving him an insight of the industry, the dedication of journalists, and the impact on the community. Jack holds journalism in high regard, believing it’s an essential pillar of American democracy and a tool to education citizens on their community, country, and world.
Jack is a major sports fan, supporting the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, and Boston Red Sox. He is also a self-proclaimed cinephile. HIs favorite movies include The Shining, Good Will Hunting, and Silver Linings Playbook. Although he’s a devout “dog-person,” he has an orange tabby cat named Shiesty.
