Chloe graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2021 with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism.
In her time at OU, she worked on several shows. She was a two-time host of the only student-run broadcast aired to a live national audience, called Sooner Sports Pad. She reported, anchored and served in many behind-the-scenes roles on the locally-aired student newscast OUNightly. Chloe also worked on a Saturday morning 2-hour sports talkshow called GameDayU. There, she assumed the role as Technical Director, then Director. The third show she directed gained International recognition. “GameDayU vs. Texas Tech” won #1 TV Sports News Program in the BEA Festival of Media Arts.
Chloe loves busy and her favorite sport is baseball, so she decided to add another job to the mix. For the 2019 baseball season, she served as a host and entertainer for the AAA baseball team, the Oklahoma City Dodgers.
While the pandemic got in the way of internships, Chloe continued to stay in the workflow scheduling bi-weekly meetings for the club she was president of in college- The Association of Women in Sports Media Writing. She created content for her professional Instagram @chloesparkstv. She also ran social media for the podcast “GoingPro.”
Nearing the end of her college journey, it was time to start applying for a “big girl job.” Chloe knew she wanted to live by the beach at some point in her life, so she applied for many small market jobs by the water. News 13 felt the most like it would be a family. Now, months into her contract, Chloe is really happy she chose WMBB and she hopes the community and management is happy they chose her too.
