Anna Hoffman joined the News 13 team in June 2020 as a general assignment reporter and multimedia journalist.
Anna has worked in various newsrooms striving to bring each story to life for her viewers. She graduated from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in May 2020 with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor in marketing.
While at Ohio University, Anna devoted much of her time to WOUB Public Media, a PBS affiliate in Athens, Ohio, where she worked as a reporter, anchor and producer for Newswatch, WOUB’s daily newscast.
In 2019, Anna was part of the news team at WBNS 10TV a CBS affiliate in Columbus, OH. As an intern there, Anna helped shape coverage for a fast paced, major market newscast. There she covered wide-ranging topics, interviewing Ohio’s senior U.S. senator on TOPIC, features on consumer concerns and breaking news reports. Anna also helped the 10TV investigation team explore treatment issues at local mental health facilities.
Born in London, England, Anna was raised in Princeton, N.J., but is excited to see everything the Florida Panhandle has to offer. Anna grew up dancing and has even performed with prestigious dance companies in New York City and Ohio. Outside of the newsroom, Anna enjoys exercising, spending time with her friends and exploring new places. Anna also has a love for and dedication to philanthropy. Over the years, she has been a major partner for The Make-A-Wish Foundation.
