CALLAWAY, Fla. - The World Softball League was in town for its second of two sessions in the tournament.
Between all of the divisions, there were over 150 teams overall. About twenty five states were represented.
It is an adult league... Generally everyone's 18 and up... So it's more than just a softball tournament... It's also a nice getaway...
WSL Director Toby Gilliam says it's his 7th time coming to Panama City for the tournament, and it's the people who make the tournament happen - everyone from the umpires to the players - that make the tournament such a hit.
"We try to get the same guys down here every year. They do well. They show up, do their job. They do a great job. It's a blast. The teams love the location. Obviously, you're on the beach, so it's a great place to have a world tournament so it's a lot of fun," said Gilliam.
