BAY COUNTY, Fla. - Panama City Beach hosted youth football players from around the country for the 49th Annual Snapper Bowl this weekend.
This is the oldest youth football tournament in the United States, bringing in thousands of people to PCB over the holiday week.
Eighty four teams traveled from all over the country to Bay County for the tournament.
Tournament Director Kenny Creel says registration fees were waived for teams playing from Texas this year. Many of those teams were just grateful to be playing after suffering from the devastaion of Hurricane Harvey.
