The Panama City local is entering his second season in Garnet and Gold. One of the obvious things looking at him is how much he's grown.
As a senior at Bay High, Robinson was listed at 6’4’’ 239 pounds. After more than a year in the FSU Strength and Conditioning Program, J-Rob is officially listed at 6’5’’ 250 pounds.
He figures to get a lot of playing time this year, and should be in the two deep at defensive end this season.
Coach Fisher said Robinson is really coming into his own right now.
"He is really developing into a good defensive end,” Coach Fisher says, “He's getting bigger. I mean, he's going to be a big guy. He can really run. He's athletic. He's a smart guy. He's really learning now to play the physicality part of the game, not that he wasn't, but the inside guys on those bigger guys... I thought the second half of spring he was fantastic. Caused a turnover in the spring game. He has a tremendous future for us at Florida State."
