LYNN HAVEN, Fla. - A Youngstown man is charged in a stabbing the sent another man to a local hospital where he required emergency surgery.
Nathan Daniel Robinson, 20, of Youngstown is charged with armed burglary of an occupied dwelling with an aggravated assault and domestic violence battery.
Lynn Haven Police investigators said that Robinson followed his ex-girlfriend to an apartment on Florida Avenue, confronted and then stabbed her new boyfriend, 22-year-old Christopher Ryan Hardy. Hardy was stabbed numerous times in the back, neck, and face with a large hunting style knife, officials said.
"His injuries were severe enough that upon being transported to the Bay Medical Center he underwent emergency surgery and is currently recovering in Surgical Intensive Care," officials added.
Robinson left prior to the arrival of officers but was apprehended by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office at his home.
Robinson was treated and released from Gulf Coast Medical Center for minor lacerations to his hands and taken to the Bay County Jail where he will undergo first appearance.
