JACKSON COUNTY, Fl - A high profile three story building in Jackson County was nearly destroyed by flames Thursday night.
It is the old Daffin Food Warehouse on Lafayette and Estees Street.

Fifty firefighters across Jackson County have worked to extinguish the fire from the 3-story building.
The old warehouse is about 140 years old.
Fire Chief for Marianna Fire Rescue, Nicky Lovett said the building didn't have any power and they have ruled out electrical for now.
"We don't know if any vagrants or anybody was in the building, we did a primary search when we got here of the portion that was partially involved, and once we did that we went into defensive attack," said Chief Lovett.
The building has been vacant for a couple of years.
There were no reported injuries from the fire.
The Florida State Fire Marshal will also assist in this investigation.
