WALTON COUNTY, Fla. - A Walton County firefighter is sent to the hospital with minor injuries, following a mobile home fire in Defuniak Springs, shortly after 8 p.m. Monday night.
According to Walton County Fire Rescue, the mobile home, located at the 2800 block of Cosson Road, was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
Multiple agencies assisted in putting out the blaze including DeFuniak Springs Fire Department and Argyle Volunteer Fire Department.
A WCFR firefighter suffered minor injuries while fighting the blaze and was transported to a local hospital.
All residents made it out of the home safely.
Electrical issues are believed to be the cause of the fire.
