The Spring Jam Festival turned out to be a big success over the weekend.
According to Visit Panama City Beach officials, about 5,500 ticket holders packed Aaron Bessant Park on Friday.
On Saturday, there was a sold-out affair with about 6,500 tickets purchased.
The two-day festival included heavyweight headliners Sheryl Crow, and Darius Rucker.
VP of Marketing Visit Panama City Beach Jayna Leach said the music fest helps level out revenue during spring break.
"We knew that because of Spring Brake dates that April might need a boost, and Spring Jam helps us, helps us with that immensely. Not only for the promotion of the event and the attendance but also on the PR we received from the event," said Leach.
A report on how Spring Jam affected revenue for the month of April is expected to be released next month.
