"A white female was found laying in a kind of overgrown area behind the residence here off of Shawn Road and Hosford," said LCSO Captain John Summers.
Authorities say they received the call around 11:30 a.m.
"The homeowner discovered the body, back there on the edge of the property and contact the Sheriff's Office and we responded out and confirmed that there was indeed a human body," said Summers.
Investigators say for now they're suspecting foul play.

Summers says they're tracking the victim's last moments.
