Trial set to begin for man who shot FWC Officer

BAY COUNTY, Fla. - After postponing the trial multiple times, the man accused of shooting and attempting to run over a law enforcement officer starts this week.

Back in August of 2015 prosecutors say Samuel Reager shot Florida fish and wildlife conservation commission officer, David Brady, in the collar bone and lower side during an altercation on a boat in Saint Andrew pass.

They add that Reager and his accomplice, Lachlan Akins, then stole Brady's boat and tried to run him over multiple times. Jury selection for his trial will begin on Monday, February 5th.
