Treasury Department Approves $7 Million in Bay County BP Projects

BAY COUNTY, Fla. - Bay County officials got $7 million worth of good news Monday as the U.S. Treasury Department accepted the county's plans for projects that will be funded by BP settlement money

Those projects include $1 million for a Bay technology initiative, $1.5 million for North Bay wastewater collection system improvements. $450,000 for Porter Park improvements, $369,125 for artificial reef construction and monitoring, $3000 for stormwater master plan and capital improvement strategic plan, and $1 million for for an East Pass environmental impact statement.
