JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. - A head-on wreck in Jackson County Friday night sent three people to the hospital with serious to critical injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Wallace Lee Hobbs, 58, of Grand Ridge was driving a Nissan Sentra west on Howell Road around 4:45 p.m. Friday.
Troopers said Hobbs drove across the center line into the past of a Mercury Marquis. The driver of the Marquis Christopher William Marr, 31, of Sneads attempted to avoid a wreck by driving onto the shoulder of the road but was unable to avoid the head-on wreck, troopers added.
Hobbs was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Marr and his passenger Brandy Lee Marr, 21, of Sneads were taken to Southeast Medical Center in serious to critical condition.
Troopers said charges are pending further investigation.
