January 3, 2017 - Three people, including a mother and her son, were charged with allegedly starting a brawl Friday night at Bozeman High School during a basketball game.
The incident began in the away stands after Motoyia Tillman, 39 started arguing with Patricia Beamon, 51, Bay County Sheriff's officials wrote in a news release. Tillman and Beamon then got into a fist fight that ended up onto the court, briefly stopping play.
It is unclear why they were fighting.
During the fight Beamon's son Padryk Beamon, 19 joined the fight to help his mother while doing so he struck Tillman and the Sheriff's deputy attempting to break up the fight.
The fight only stopped with the assistance of several bystanders. Tillman and the Beamons were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
