Panama City, Fla. - For the Deane Bozeman graduates, Thursday was a huge stepping stone in their lives. Students were honored for their dedication and academic success.
The valedictorian was Carly Hanson, who also happens to be a 2018 U.S. Presidential Scholar. Hundreds of friends and families filled the audience to support their loved ones as they took the stage. One father says he couldn't be more proud of his son and all of the other students.
"I'm proud of everyone, a lot of people here I have went to school with, their children were all the same age, we were very excited to see them all walk the stage and carry on the next chapter of their life and become functional members of society," said Luke Beach, Deane Bozeman parent.
School administrators say this class has a bright future.
