BAY COUNTY, FLA. - The Panama City Police Department announces the arrest of Jah-ran Alexander and Beatrice Blain, both from Miami Florida. The arrest occurred last Friday when officers responded to a CVS on 15th street in reference to credit card fraud.
Officers recognized Alexander as he has been the suspect in several other credit card fraud cases.
Both the Panama City Police Department and Bay County Sheriff's Office worked together to conduct interviews and collect evidence for the case.
A search warrant was obtained to search Blain Alexander's vehicle, and according to the report, during their search they found numerous counterfeit credit cards, gift cards, a laptop, an embosser for stamping credit cards, and a reencoder for encoding information onto the counterfeit credit cards.
Alexander and Blain were arrested and have been charged with trafficking in counterfeit credit cards, use of a skimmer/reencoder to defraud, fraudulent use of a credit card, criminal use of person identification, and possession of marijuana.
