Texas Biker Seriously Injured in Santa Rosa Beach Crash

A Texas motorcyclist has serious injuries after wrecking his bike in Walton County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
 
The single vehicle accident happened in Santa Rosa Beach near the intersection of Hwy 98 and E. Hewitt Rd. around 7:00 p.m. Saturday.
 
Troopers wrote in a traffic report that Robert Willard Pulley, 50, was driving a new Yamaha bike west on 98 when the bike's front tire came up in the air causing the bike to flip. Pulley was thrown off the bike which caused serious injuries.
 
Pulley was first taken to Sacred Heart Emerald Coast Hospital then later flown to Pensacola Sacred Heart Hospital. Troopers noted he was not wearing a helmet.
 
Troopers cited Pulley with careless driving.
